Visit Mgahinga Gorilla National Park one of the tourist destinations mostly known home for these great mountain gorillas and this is where silver meets gold. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda and it hosts more other species like birds, insects and more. After gorilla trekking tours in the park our guide will transfer you to the Bunagana border and cross to Democratic Republic of Congo heading to the Virunga National Park to the Mountain Nyiragongo for the hiking to the summit with the overnight stay at the summit in the Nyiragongo shelters.
Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport and you will be welcomed by our tour guide and company representative share greetings and then directed up to your hotel of residences. You will have your dinner and overnight at Via Via Travelers Cafe. Early breakfast start your journey from Kampala to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park via Kabale to Kisoro. Lunch is provided en-route and thereafter proceeds with the journey up to the park and stay at most eco-friendly lodges and camps.
After your breakfast you will head to the park offices with your guide for some briefing about the gorilla trekking rules, dos and don’ts by the park officials. After the briefing you will head into the forest for the trekking activity with an experienced and trained park ranger for guiding and after discovering these creatures you will be allowed to stay around them for one hour while enjoying their great plays, behaviors, way of conducting, taking photographs and more .After the trekking activity you will head back to park offices for gorilla trekking certificate awarding and after there you will go for some resting.
In the evening you will go for some nature walk around the park and this is where you can be able to spot and sight many more varieties of species like birds, insects, mammals and more staff .You will also go for community visit where you will meet local people in the community share greeting, entertainment as they will be more excited and you experience and get to know their lifestyles, standards of living and more.
Have breakfast and after you will start your journey from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park heading to Bunagana border crossing to the Virunga National Park hiking the mount Nyiragongo with the overnight stay at summit in the Nyiragongo shelters and then the following day descend own and embark the Virunga jeep and transfer back to Kampala and you will pass via Kisoro to Kabale and then up to Kampala for your return journey back home. Lunch is provided en-route.you will board from Entebbe international airport back to your home country with a great experience.
